Thinking of taking a trip around Egypt, or perhaps its neighbors to the north? A good place to begin your journey might be Taba. The little city is a great weekend getaway location, or a short stop amongst further travels. If you live in the area, or plan to be there sometime, you could have a lot of good times in Taba Egypt. There are a few things that you can get into when you visit the little town of Taba. For starters, you might want to check in to one of its popular hotel chains. The most popular and highest recommended of the options would be the Hilton Resort. Upon reading reviews of hotels and other lodging in the area, the Hilton was the most decorated with positive commentary.

Getting to Taba could not be easier. Since the opening of its international airport, you can find direct flights from select cities in Europe. Buses run daily from Nuweiba, Dahab, Sharm el-Sheikh, Cairo, and Suez. You also have the option of taking a taxi service, which is comparably priced, to and from Nuweiba, Tarabeen, Dahab, and Sharm.

Castle Zaman is a rather fascinating memorial East of the Sinai peninsula. It offers spectacular views of mountains on all sides stretching into four countries. It is situated on the ancient road between St Catherine’s Monastery and Jerusalem. Exquisite meals of stewed meat with figs, dates and vegetables are available - but make sure you have sufficient time; good food takes time to prepare.

Accommodation is still not plentiful, except if you go to Taba Heights. The Hilton is very affordable though, and 15km from town you will find a beach camp with thatched roofs so you can watch the stars at night. Full board is available.

Taba International Airport is 35km from town. There is also a long distance bus that runs from Cairo to the border. Passengers are mainly males, but the buses are quite new and well equipped.

Nightlife is just as exciting in Taba Egypt. You can dine at one of the many fabulous restaurants, or listen to the soothing sound of the ocean, while sipping cocktails on the beach. Are you feeling like a high roller tonight? Then you might want to head on over to the casino and test your luck. Whether you are looking for a weekend getaway while traveling in Israel, or longing for a week long vacation from Europe, Taba Egypt should not be missed.
