Well this article is really not about the two names in the title. Yet, if Brad knew how easy it was to submit a K1 Fiance Visa Application, he might be bringing a beautiful fiance home with him right now. Ok no more joking; let us get into the meat of this article.

Know these few things about the documents that go along with the K1 Fiance Visa Application. Required K1 Fiance Visa Documents must go along with the application packet. Just omitting one document could cause you to be denied or at the best held up until the right documents are submitted.

This is a high level overview of what you will need to submit along with your application packet. Now if you go about this alone, it is good to follow someone that has gone through the process and has helped others do the same.

Enjoy the article and get a good idea of the K1 Fiance Visa Application Process .

This is very high level, but it will give you the entire submittal process in a nutshell.

I-129F Petition for Alien Fiance: Fill this document out completely. A document used to petition to bring your fiance and children to the USA for the intention of marriage. Meeting your fiance within the last two years before submitting your application is required. The instructions can be a bit tricky, but read them fully and comply with all requested information.

G-325 Biographic Information Form: Fill this document out in full. It will ask you to complete all biographical information. Read the instructions with care and submit any requested media.

I-134 Affidavit of Support: A very important document that will describe the person that will support the fiance when in the USA. This is one of the hardest documents to understand and fill out. Read and follow the instructions carefully.

You will have to submit birth certificates. These certificates need to come from you and your fiance. If you or your fiance was ever married, she will need to show proof of the divorce.

The final bit of documentation that needs to be submitted is the proof of the on-going relationship. Save all travel documents and anything that has to do with your trip to see your fiance. Try to submit as much supporting documentation as possible with the application. The more you submit the better. Also keep copies of everything you send. You will not get any of the documentation back.

Now it is time to bundle it all up and send it off to the USCIS for approval. Don’t forget to make a copy of everything for yourself and your fiance. Send a complete application with all documents to your fiance as well. She will need it for the interview process.

During the interview the officer may not request all documents in the packet. Yet they have every right to request what they deem necessary to complete the interview. It is also good for your fiance to understand what is in the packet, so that she is prepared for the many questions that will be asked.
