The Cabo Esperanza Resort

The Cabo Esperanza Resort is a resort that was definitely out of our budget. All we could do was drive in and just dream about staying to a place of such beauty. This is high end living during your Cabo San Lucas vacation.

This resort is situated at about km 7 along the Los Cabos Corridor so it's on the more relaxed side of Cabo San Lucas.

We spoke to a few people staying at the Cabo Esperanza Resort, and the general feedback was everyone was enjoying themselves. The service is good. If you're around the pool you will have a waiter visit you every 30 - 60 minutes.

Food and drink

Everyone enjoyed the food here. It's only a small resort with one main restaurant but everyone was happy. The only slight negative was the price of the food and drink. This is a 5 star resort though so that was to be expected.

There are a couple of other small bars where you can eat aswell. You have the Palapa which serves Mexican and American lunches and dinners. El Bar serves sandwiches and burgers, and has a Tequila menu.

Resort activities

If you enjoy your sports the Cabo Esperanza Resort won't let you down. I know you're suppose to relax on vacation but even the activities here sound too good to miss out on. You can enjoy activities that include..

The Esperanza pools

The pools on the hotel side at the Esperanza don't allow any children so they are a bit more relaxing than most resort pools. The view from these infinity pools is stunning.

Pool service is excellent. Cold face towels are in regular supply as well as an ice bucket filled with bottled water.

The residents side of the Cabo Esperanza resort has another two pools which allow children. They still have a great atmosphere though even with the children playing in the pool.

Your rooms

A lot of the residents were saying it's not worth upgrading to a ocean view room as the view was ok from other rooms at the hotel. This is probably something you will just have to find out before you go.

The guests were given a complimentary chair massage as soon as they arrived which sounds like the perfect way to start your vacation.

You can have your breakfast served on your terrace with your toast being cooked in front of you. You don't get any toast that's 5 minutes old being brought up to your room.

The Cabo Esperanza Resort is really high end Cabo San Lucas. If you have the money it's well worth it.
