Justo Al Gusto is a Cabo San Lucas restaurant we had walked past a few times while we was at the marina. So one day we just decided to make a reservation and give it a try. There's so much variety of restaurants in Cabo San Lucas you have to try and experience as many as possible.
We got our menus, and chose our starters. You get a choice of cold ones or hot at Justo Al Gusto so we thought we would have one of each. We went for mussels in red sauce and cheese for the hot starter. And to accompany that we odered a Mexican cactus salad which sounded interesting.

After our starter had gone down well we moved onto our main course. Seeing as we was in the marina where they bring in the fish we went for a couple of fish dishes. It doesn't get any fresher than that, it's almost from the boat to your plate.
Once I saw Sea bass Fillet Veracruz Style on the menu it had to be eaten. Not because I knew what it was but it was stewed with capers, olives and garlic. My mouth was watering as I was reading the menu. We also ordered Shrimp Mignon which was giant shrimp wrapped in bacon with a sauce that you choose yourself.
The food was gorgeous and going down easily especially with the bottle of wine we ordered. We always have wine with our meals when were on vacation.

We managed to leave enough room for our desert which was a blessing as Justo Al Gusto has a nice variety. In the end we went for Buñuelos (Sopaipillas). This was a fried tortilla served with honey, fresh fruit and vanilla ice cream. Seeing as we always order 2 different items for any of our courses we also went for the homemade chocolate fudge cake.
These just finished the meal off perfectly at this Cabo San Lucas restaurant. If you want, there's also an after dinner drinks menu which has Whiskies, Tequilas, cognacs and a few other spirits. We gave these a miss as the wine was doing a good enough job on it's own.
This Cabo restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is owned by Master Chef Markus Jungo Fasel.
Justo Al Gusto is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. For reservations, call (624) 105-0707. MasterCard and Visa accepted.-Sabrina Lear
