Great Food At The Margaritavilla

It's hard not to notice the Margaritavilla from the outside so we was easily tempted just by the way it looked. It's a traditional Mexican restaurant, and when walked in we wasn't disappointed.

The atmosphere was good in this Cabo restaurant, the staff were friendly as they are in every Cabo San Lucas restaurant we have been in. We sat down and had a look around, we could see the yachts on the Marina from our table. There are few restaurants around the Marina which doesn't seem to be a bad thing.

After looking at the menu, for our appetizers we chose the garlic clams, and we also chose the nachos. They wasn't just nachos though, they were tortilla chips topped with beans, two kinds of melted cheese, jalapeño peppers and guacamole. They had to be tried just to add that mexican taste to the meal.

Dining in the Margaritavilla we had to sample a couple of maragaritas with our meal. Not the ideal drink we wanted but it's just something we thought we would try out. After drinking it we thought wine accompanies our meals much better.

For our main course at the Margaritavilla we chose the Mezquite grilled salmon. This had rice, vegetables, and a choice of sauce which had to be the garlic sauce. Apart from that it was spinach or tequila, so there was no competition for the garlic. Our second choice was Enchiladas with lobster. Which had a homemade sauce, and fried beans with them.

To finish our meal we had enough room left for desert. We went for the three milks cake and the ice cream truffle. Both were lovely, and gave the meal a good send off.
